All signs are done on ½” plywood with a black ¾” pine frame. They are hand-stenciled and have a 6 step process to achieve that rustic, antique look, a style modeled after the GENERAL STORE and MERCANTILE signs from long ago. The signs are highly distressed and antiqued to give them that “time worn” look, so there might be slight color variations as well as knots and rough patches in the wood. This just adds to their primitive charm. They come complete with saw tooth hangers on the back for easy hanging and are available in a wide range of sizes, styles and colors. Choose background and lettering colors from those available, and Hollie will choose a shadow color to compliment the combo. The signs have a coat of dark stain as a protective coat, additional polyurethane can be added if desired. Signs can be hung outside, however, in direct weather, a weatherproof sealer is advised.

Other colors are available by special order.
